Privacy policy
Last updated: 17 October 2026
AMPD Audio Events Organising, trading as AMPD Audio (“we”, “us” or “our”), operates ampdaudio.ae from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you browse our website, request a quotation, book equipment or services, or contact us.
It explains our practices; visiting the website does not, by itself, give consent to every use of your information. Where consent is required, it must be obtained separately.
Information we collect
- Contact and enquiry details: your name, company, email address, telephone number and information you provide through forms, email, calls or WhatsApp.
- Booking details: event dates, venue addresses, location pins, on-site contacts, equipment requirements, quotations, purchase orders, billing details and payment confirmations.
- Service records: delivery and collection arrangements, equipment handover records, signatures, condition photographs and correspondence about faults, damage or disputes, where relevant.
- Identity documents: Emirates ID or passport details and copies, where needed for venue access or identity checks associated with a booking, deposit or payment arrangement.
- Website and account information: details you provide when using an account, and technical information such as IP address, browser, device, pages visited and interactions with the website or advertisements.
Please provide only information needed for your enquiry or booking. Do not send payment-card security codes, passwords or unnecessary identity documents through our contact form, email or WhatsApp. If you provide another person's contact details, make sure you are authorised to do so and that they know why we need them.
Identity documents and venue access
Before requesting an identity document, we will explain why it is needed, which details are required and whether it must be shared with a venue, organiser or security team. A document request is not permission to reuse it for marketing or unrelated purposes. Where practical and accepted by the receiving party, we will use verification or a limited copy instead of retaining an entire document.
Access to copies must be limited to authorised people handling the relevant requirement. Copies should be removed when that purpose ends, unless a legal obligation or an unresolved claim requires retention. Please ask us to confirm the submission method before sending an ID or passport copy; do not post it in a group chat.
How we use information
We use relevant information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, manage bookings and payments, coordinate suppliers and technicians, arrange delivery and collection, provide support, and handle equipment records and disputes. We also use website information to understand performance, measure advertising results and help protect against misuse or fraud.
We process personal information with consent where required, or where applicable law permits processing for purposes such as taking requested steps towards a contract, performing a contract, meeting legal obligations or establishing or defending legal claims. The basis depends on the information and purpose involved.
Who receives information
Relevant information may be shared with Shopify, payment providers, communication and storage providers, and service providers helping us operate the business. Suppliers, delivery crews and technicians may receive the booking details they need, such as equipment requirements, venue access information and the on-site contact. Sharing should be limited to what is needed for the relevant purpose.
Analytics and advertising providers receive technical and interaction information as described below. We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary for legal proceedings, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable safeguards.
Shopify and payments
Our website is hosted on Shopify. Shopify processes information to operate and support the store, and may process certain information for its own purposes under its applicable privacy terms. Read the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and visit Shopify's privacy portal for information about rights and choices relating to Shopify.
When you use an online payment method, the payment provider processes the information needed to complete the transaction under its own privacy terms. We use relevant payment confirmations and billing records to administer your booking.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for store functionality, analytics and advertising measurement. Google Analytics and Google Ads tags are used on the website. These technologies may process device and browser information, IP addresses, cookie identifiers, page visits and interactions with advertisements or enquiry links.
We also use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the website through interaction metrics, heatmaps and session replays, helping us improve the site. Clarity captures browsing activity such as clicks, scrolling and page interactions using cookies and similar technologies. Microsoft also processes this information under its Privacy Statement.
Advertising measurement can record actions such as clicking an enquiry link; this does not necessarily mean that a booking or completed conversation occurred. Read Google's Privacy Policy and the Shopify Cookie Policy for more information.
Where a cookie banner or preference control is available, you can use it to review or change your choices. You can also manage cookies through your browser and review advertising choices through Google My Ad Center. Browser controls may affect website functionality and do not necessarily stop every form of data processing. Contact us if you need help with your privacy choices.
Where consent is legally required for non-essential tracking or advertising, it must be obtained separately. This notice and continued browsing are not substitutes for that consent.
WhatsApp, email and marketing
When you contact us through WhatsApp or email, we use the information you provide to respond and manage your enquiry or booking. WhatsApp operates under its own Privacy Policy. A website link to WhatsApp opens a separate service.
We do not record customer telephone calls or send promotional WhatsApp or SMS messages. We may keep written notes or correspondence needed to handle an enquiry or booking. If these practices change, we will update this notice and obtain any required consent before introducing them.
If you choose to subscribe to email offers, your subscription is separate from your booking. You can unsubscribe using the option in a marketing email or contact us directly. Promotional communication must comply with applicable law and any required consent. Opting out does not prevent necessary quotation, booking or service messages.
Event photographs and videos
Photographs used to document equipment condition or service delivery are handled for those purposes. Promotional use of event photographs or videos showing identifiable individuals requires appropriate permission or another lawful basis. An equipment booking does not automatically give AMPD Audio unrestricted permission to use attendees' images. Contact us with any concern about an image or video associated with your event.
Retention, security and international processing
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including managing bookings, keeping legally required records, resolving disputes and handling legal claims. The period depends on the type of record and applicable obligations. Information that is no longer required should be deleted or anonymised.
We take reasonable measures to protect personal information and limit access to those who need it for their work. No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
Shopify and other service providers may store or process information outside the UAE. Where information is transferred internationally, applicable transfer requirements and safeguards must be observed. Provider privacy policies explain their own processing arrangements.
Your rights and requests
Subject to applicable law and exceptions, you may request access to your personal information, correction, deletion, a copy or transfer of information, restriction or cessation of certain processing, or withdrawal of consent where processing relies on consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before it was withdrawn.
You may also object to direct marketing and, where applicable, request human review of automated decisions that significantly affect you. Nothing in our booking terms limits your mandatory privacy rights under applicable UAE law, including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 where it applies.
Email audioampd@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy request” and enough information to identify your enquiry or booking. We may request proportionate verification before releasing or changing records. We will respond within applicable legal time limits and explain any lawful reason why a request cannot be fully met. You may also raise a complaint with the competent data-protection authority where applicable.
Children and external websites
Our booking services are intended for adults and authorised business representatives. Please do not submit children's personal information unless it is necessary for a specifically agreed service and you are authorised to provide it. A parent or guardian concerned about information submitted by a child can contact us.
External websites and platforms have their own privacy practices. Review their notices when following a link or using their services.
Contact and policy updates
For privacy questions or requests, contact AMPD Audio Events Organising, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, at audioampd@gmail.com or through our contact page.
We may update this policy when our practices or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and provide any additional notice or request fresh consent where required.
